Thanks to Hurricane Irene, there is no school on the very first day:-( Not good! The kids are pretty disappointed. I think they were really excited about starting off and meeting new friends. We toured around the neighborhood to see the damage. Luckily our house was fine, just some yard work that we got taken care of yesterday. Others weren’t as lucky…they even took a house off the market that we were planning on looking at on Wednesday because of a tree through the roof. So sad…I hope they get it taken care of quickly, I really liked that house. More importantly, there weren’t any injuries and that’s what matters most.
