This year was a very special Father’s Day for Jamey and I. Not only do we have the news of a new baby on the way, but we also got the kid’s adoption papers in the mail the day before. We can’t wait to become a forever family. The kids couldn’t be luckier, they have the most amazing dad ever.
Colton’s 5th grade graduation went off without a hitch. He looked so handsome and grown up. I can’t believe he’s moving on to middle school this fall. Sob, sob…it’s a little bittersweet.
Camden is now just one belt from her black belt! She and Colton are finally the same belt and should both test for their black belt this fall.
I know I should keep quiet but I just haven’t been able to…not too many people read my blog and everyone who does, already knows. Jamey and I are going to have a baby. I couldn’t be happier. I am beyond excited and nervous at the same time. It’s been almost 9 years since I have been pregnant. I’m hoping that everything goes as smoothly as the first two times and that I am just worried for nothing. Luckily, my friends and family have been very supportive and reassuring. My first dr. appt. is next Friday. I can’t wait to hear that all is well and finally know for sure when to expect our little tater tot. I pray almost every second that the baby is healthy. And I guess since I am such a blabber mouth and couldn’t keep it to myself, I’ll also break the “don’t buy anything right away” rule too. Jennifer got her nephew this bib and since it’s pretty gender neutral, I had to get one too!
